Why we made the change
The label “Virgin Hair” had become so widely misused that it was no longer a reliable description of hair quality.
The reason behind the rename
Most of the hair marketed as “virgin hair” was not genuine virgin hair. The label had become a marketing term rather than a dependable description of the product.
This created an unfair market for sellers like us who wanted to describe their hair accurately instead of relying on an increasingly abused label.
The hair we previously called “virgin hair” is collected from women’s ponytails. We therefore decided to name it according to what it actually is: Ponytail Hair.
Our decision
We stopped using “Virgin Hair” and adopted “Ponytail Hair” instead.
The new name describes the actual hair material more clearly and reflects our commitment to transparent, understandable product classification.
